Downtown Raleigh Custom Craftsman Style Home

Take a look at this beautiful new Craftsman Style Home!

The homeowners came to us wanting to remodel and add-on to a very old family home. After looking at the structure and finding some integrity issues and weighing out the costs of repairs vs replacement, they decided to rebuild a new home on the site.

The Craftsman house plan they came up with is in keeping with the style of homes in the downtown Raleigh neighborhood and many neighbors have since complimented the home’s curb appeal.

All the previous home’s issues were eliminated, and the home now sits on a taller foundation and has a welcoming front porch with iron railing. The open concept downstairs design includes a large family room, dining area, powder room and kitchen that opens onto a large screened porch. The master suite is on the first-floor with a large bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet with access to their laundry room. The second floor has two large bathrooms, three bedrooms and an office. Their new home has lots of room for the whole extended family to enjoy together.

The new screened porch has a wood ceiling and tongue in groove wood flooring. It also has only a top rail allowing for better outside views.
