Why We Use 3D CAD
Fifteen years ago, I decided to begin using CAD software in order to help my clients visualize the design options for their homes. I previously would draw sketches and elevations, but needed a better method. Many clients would bring in floor plans done by architects in typical 2D format and really have no idea what their finished project would look like. Some of these plans could not even be built as designed. These issues frustrated our clients and me, so I was eager to eliminate this problem. Since then, I have found numerous benefits to providing 3D plans in addition to 2D architectural plans both for the homeowner and myself. Some of these include the following:

The bottom line is it gives our customer the best possible design that meets their needs and desires and results in beautiful homes!
