Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the process of generating and using three-dimensional, real-time, dynamic building modeling software in building design and construction. It is much more than CAD (Computer Aided Drafting.) The process produces the Building Information Model, or BIM, encompassing building geometry, spatial relationships, geographic information, and building components.

Wouldn’t it be great if you could walk around in a 3D model of your home before you built it so that you could get exactly what you want?  With Corbett Design Build’s three dimensional modeling capabilities, you can. 

A new home or renovation can be one of the largest investments you will make, yet seldom are you able to “test drive” your plans before construction begins. Sometimes this meets with disappointing results—when the finished project does not turn out as expected. It can be hard to visualize the size and overall feel of a room by your one dimensional blueprints.  But once the furniture moves in, it becomes obvious if the room really needed to be larger or the layout does not flow and function properly.  At this point, it is much more expensive to make changes.
